Sean Penn has said that his dedication to helping Haiti’s earthquake victims does not make him a good person.
'I'm not,' the Hollywood star told Zoe Heller writing for the New York Times magazine. 'I mean – I'm really not [a good person].'
The Milk star, whose aid group J/P Haitian Relief Organisation has been running since last March, insisted that his charitable work has not altered his long-running problems of dealing with the world.
'I have great moments where I feel very connected and loving toward humankind, but I never have a good moment toward human beings.
“That's the way it is – I love humankind, I don't like humans. I don't get along with people very well – I never did,' he said.
And the actor-director – who is currently rumoured to be dating actress Scarlett Johansson – also admitted that his commitment to the ongoing relief efforts in Haiti keeps him out of trouble.
'If I wasn't here, I know what I'd be doing – and it's probably got to do with designs on women,” he said. “Probably it would be reduced to that…”

Jimmy Jean-Louis excited about improvement in African cinema and his most important role yet!
Ghanaweb.com
Jimmy plays the role of Toussaint Louverture, the man who gave Haiti its independence from France in 1804. Toussaint-Louverture was the leader of the Haitian Revolution, the first successful revolution by a slave population in the Americas. He is noted for his military genius and political acumen which prepared the way for the creation of the independent black state of Haiti. The success of the Haitian Revolution had enduring effects on shaking the institution of slavery throughout the New World.
Jimmy Jean-Louis describes the role as his most important role to date. The actor who gained mass acceptance in Africa for his role as a Nigerian in the hit romantic comedy, ‘Phat Girlz’, continues explore African movies. He starred in three of the movies that are currently gunning for honours at the 2011 African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). Jimmy’s role as an abusive husband in the psychological drama, ‘Sinking Sands’, earned him a ‘Best Actor in A Leading Role’ nomination.
Jimmy comments that it’s good to have an event like the African Movie Academy Awards in Africa because it is necessary to celebrate “ourselves” just so the rest of the world can pay attention. “The African cinema has great potential; it has improved a lot in the past few years. I took great pleasure in collaborating with very talented African film makers, inside and outside of the continent. ‘Precipice’ was shot in London by Julius Amedume (Ghana);’In America, The Story of Soul Sisters’ was shot in Boston by Rahman Oladigbolu (Nigeria),and ‘Sinking Sands’ was shot in Ghana by Leila Djansi (Ghana).”
Commenting on his chances of winning the Best Actor nod , Jimmy said: “I don’t know if I will win, I think all nominated actors are winners.”

Can Haiti cure Mr " Tiger blood " Charlie Sheen .
Now that Charlie Sheen has cured his cocaine addiction with his evolved brain, he can put that, along with his tiger blood and Adonis DNA, to good use.
In Haiti.
According to ABC News, Sheen has enthusiastically agreed to take a trip to the economically crippled country with friend and fellow actor Sean Penn, though neither have said when they'll be leaving.
Penn has been encouraging the manic star to shift his focus to something productive since Friday, now that Sheen has the country's undivided attention.
"Charlie is one of the very few public people who cannot be accused of using the media to his own benefit," Penn said in a public statement. "I would very much like to show my old friend the world of needs on the ground in Haiti, and introduce him and his tremendous wit to our hard working Haitian staff."
Needless to say, Sheen's response was not exactly what you'd expect.
"I'm excited as hell because, you know, if I can bring the attention of the world down there, then clearly this tsunami keeps cresting," Sheen told "Access Hollywood."
